ACC Scouts

As Assistant County Commissioner Scouts I look after those within the 10 1/2 - 14 years.
​
The ACC Scouts role is shared with Matt Young. I am responsible for Chief Scout Award Gold, supporting our ADC’s, reviewing and planning events and section leader briefings.
​
I have been a Cub Scout, Scout, Venture Scout, Scout Leader, County Change Agent and County Scouter. Knocking on 30 years of adult scouting in St Albans and Hertfordshire.

As Assistant County Commissioner Scouts I look after those within the 10 1/2 - 14 years.

The ACC Scouts role is shared with Richard Thomas. I am responsible for programme development, communications, event delivery and Youth Shaped Scouting.
​
I am first and foremost a Scout leader in Hertford with experience spanning 20 Years, 3 groups, 3 districts and 2 Counties.
We are part of #TeamHertfordshire
​
As a County we are working towards the 2023 vision set out by the Scout Association. By working together as a team we can work towards delivering #SkillsForLife to as many young people as possible, not forgetting providing training for our amazing volunteers.
​
Young people are amazing. It's our role to help them realise this.
